Marketing Manager Sofia - Bulgaria

Ficosota is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and open-minded marketeer with a strategic mindset to fulfill the vacant position of Local Marketing Manager responsible for part of our non-food business on the Bulgarian and Romanian market.

 

Role overview:

As Marketing Manager, you will have to identify market opportunities, lead the execution of marketing strategies to develop the brands and markets entrusted to you in order to achieve sustained sales and profit growth and meet strategic brand objectives for each country. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensures the development of brands in the short and long term by developing overall marketing strategies per market
  • Responsible for the development of the brand in the markets entrusted to him/her, with the aim of increasing sales and market share in each of them
  • Responsible for and involved in the creation of the annual brand communication strategy and budget per country
  • Responsible for the effective investment of the consumer marketing budget of the brands in the markets assigned to him
  • Prepares, together with the team, a plan for marketing activities during the year, monitors and assists his/her subordinates in implementation process
  • Has close relations with the key departments (Sales, Global Marketing Management, Logistics) within the company
  • Has knowledge of the tendencies in the markets for which he/she is responsible and regularly visits them to monitor our and competitors’ performance
  • Analyses and monitors the price positioning of brands, seeking to ensure competitiveness
  • Participates in proposals for new product creation

Requirements:

  • University degree (preferably Economics, Marketing, Brand Management, or another discipline related to Marketing)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the relevant field, FMCG sector is an advantage
  • Genuine interest in marketing, sales, brand management, and communication
  • Experience in presenting and argumentation of ideas/strategy/concepts
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication & teamwork skills
  • Superb strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English – both written and spoken
  • Very good skills in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Driver’s license
