Ficosota is now searching for its Support Engineer, based at Shumen, Bulgaria!

Ficosota is one of the fastest growing companies originating from Bulgaria, engaged in the manufacture and sale of fast-moving consumer goods in several different directions - home and personal care products, hygiene disposable tissues and snack food. 

At the core of Support Engineer `s position, lays the responsibility to contribute to the efficient production processes.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring Healthy and Safe working conditions for the employees entrusted to him
• Directs and coordinates the work of the mechanics in the plant and allocates tasks among them according to the plan for maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Ensures correct record keeping in respect of the maintenance of machinery and equipment entrusted to him
• Trains, organizes and instructs operational staff and external companies, regarding the operating and maintenance instructions of the machines
• Instructs mechanics and operating personnel on safe working conditions techniques and supervises their proper implementation
• Maintains constant liaison and interaction with Shift Supervisor, Mechanics, Technicians, Operators and other personnel using equipment related to production processes
• Monitors the efficient and appropriate loading of machinery and work equipment
• Plans, ensures and controls the availability and consumption of spare parts in the area entrusted to him
• Participates in the technical team to implement new products and equipment, in conjunction with colleagues from other departments and external companies

Requirements and Necessary Skills:

• Previous experience of 2+ years as a Support Engineer is required
• With a good knowledge of FMCG production
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Economics, Engineering or in a similar field
• Very good level computer literacy and technical skills: Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in English – B2 level
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Preciseness
