Overview

Ficosota is now searching for its Health and Safety Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring that workplace health and safety regulations are in compliance with state and federal laws. The coordinator will identify, assess, and control risks related to the work environment to keep workers safe and healthy.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Health and Safety Coordinator you will be responsible to:

• Develop and implement safety programs and policies
• Ensure effective and efficient monitoring of ESH compliance and informs ESH policy
• Organize and conduct initial safety briefings for new hires, as well as periodic and emergency briefings and refresher training for all workers
• Ensure the working environment complies with all health and safety and ES regulations
• Train employees on health and safety policies and best practices
• Conduct regular inspections and identifying ESH hazards and violations
• Provide solutions and prevention strategies for employee health and safety hazards
• Implement new regulations,rules and projects to ensure health and safety and measures comply with regulations
• Improve and prevent work-related illnesses and accidents with activities to raise awareness and promote prevention of hazards
• Conduct and organize internal audits to monitor and improve working conditions,ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
• Maintain relations with the Labour Inspectorate, the Supervisory Inspectorate, the Fire Safety Service, the Occupational Health Service, the Civil Protection Service, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment Health or related field
• Minimum of 3 years in a health and safety role
• Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian Low connected with health and safety regulations
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software programs
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred
